Anyone here ever used the cut potato method?

I did once and it worked fine.

Cut the potato and rub it over the area where the leaf will be applied and let it dry before applying your pattern.

I have made my own Saral like paper by rubbing rubber cement thinner over the paper, then sprinkling powdered graphite all over and rubbing until it is evenly distributed.
