I used to remove grafitti with xylol or toulol, but of course it is a little stronger than mineral spirits, but if you used it real spaaringly on a rag it might just take off the spray and leave the one shot behind.

Hey I did the gold leaf at Scagway Alaska about 15 years ago. I did the gold for "Gold Rush National Historical Park" and many of the antique style directional signs. It was so cool because i got a free trip to alaska and earned 2 thousand bucks on top of that ! Good luck with your job. I ...

I am trying to find an old geezer i used to work with named Dan Belief. ( I am an old geezer myself now ) He used to be part owner of 20/20 graphics in rockville maryland. And then moved to Virginia.

I did gold leaf for 30 years and I used to run one of my brushes with oil on it across my left palm and then brush my guilders tip across it before picking up the gold. Also I used to have a piece of plastic a little larger than the leaf book and would wrap the pages around it as i used them to give...
