Thanks Larry, yah I had tried out that site before posting here and I am guess it was hand drawn, I ended up just recreating it in Illustrator but it would have been fun to have had the whole alphabet.

Its certainly been awhile since I have done any etching but in my experience you are cleaning the glass (usually with rubbing alcohol) to ensure proper adhesion of your sand blast mask, photo resist etc. Hopefully Roderick will jump in here as he is the glass expert around here but there's my two ce...

I really have had good luck with istock.com I would also suggest the Vector Art Mega Collections, they also sell images for just a few bucks I believe their website is http://www.vectorart.com/

The face is a formed face so I cant turn it inside out as normally could be done with a flat sheet but I definitely appreciate your guys insight into this.

So I finally have found somebody in my area to start showing my some of the basics of the hand lettering. My instructor introduced me to the 3x5 width height rule as well as having me hand sketching a "yard stick" font. He also then went on to show me how by slanting the vertical boxes of my 3 by 5 ...
