I came across an old glass sign in Lisbon with a very interessing effect. It is like water droplets. Can anyone tell me how is this done?

Thank you all for your opinions! I'm pretty sure it is painted directly in the glass, and they don't want it restored because there's two glasses and this one on the photo is the one in better shape( they eventually would like to preserve this ones and make a copy. I'll keep you all posted.

The sample i was given access to it is not a "perfect" gilding the applied gold is wrickled and not straight, i mean that's the effect they want. It also has some kind of canvas backing, maybe to aply some kind of adesive to stick to the wall. The project consists in covering the pillars o...

Gilded glass wall- HELPPPPP!

Hello everyone.
A client of mine just ask me for a quote for 100 square meters of gilded glass. I'll have to use fake gold leaf. What kind of size do you recomend and after the gold aplied how'll i fix it? I've never did such a large area and i need some hints.

I'll be very happy to show you lisbon and it's signs, the problem is i don't have a studio yet. I'm focusing in the glass sign now, never did it before, only my dad used to do it.

I need to a painted glass, the bottom part i can manage- some lettering with silver leaf gilding- the top part is what is bothering me, can i paint with acrylic? Check the link, its the two signs in the corner.
