Interesting web Site
Hi all, Whilst researching Victorian ephemera for the Bristol UK area I came across this little website that is cataloguing British Industrial History. There is a lot of interesting little titbits on the site, it can be a bit of a search if you do’t know who you are looking for but there may well be...

Re: The Forum vs Facebook
Facebook is just a fad that will pass away in time, wasn't there something similar called Bebo or something? Then there was freinds reunited, thats gone. I wonder if Ancestry will keep going, maybe it will as it covers a world wide hobby. People are only currently attracted to facebook because they ...

Re: Lettering on cloth
You need to seal with a clear coat, over in the UK they use GAC 500 and then again with the same stuff to finish, I don't know if you get it in the US of A. It's use is to seal the material and prevent bleed as the clear coat will already have done it. You might also consider using it when using col...

Re: Sand Blasting/Etching
What sort of thing are you after? you have several choices of medium sand, AI, Sc. If you are looking for fine art application you are looking at small nozzle sizes. Take a look at stuff like the PAB Gun, they are in the USA and are online here http://www.pabblaster.com/index.php

This is a beautiful piece Erik, a fitting testament to both your mother and you.
I understand exactly why she told you to be moderate and not go over the top.
Less is more and this piece reflects that.

Sounds very interesting Rob. I think I know of the firm that you buy the printable paper from, if it's the people where you have to spray the film with Part A to print on and Part B to release. Although I imagine the minimum order to be quite expensive. It would be great to see other things you have...

Hi Rob, Lovely work. I have always wondered what type of printer is used to do this and if special inks are used but then having looked around the web, (Kolorfusion?) it looks like one buys pre printed film. Do you have to outsource to get your own designs specially printed? With regards to mike's o...
