Re: Glass Signs (Showcase your work here!)
nice looking panel Rod ! Now tell me about the "snail" chip .......was that intentional ? I've gotten chip like that before, but it seems accidental with me. Mitchell's chipping book states this type of chip happens ehen it's hot and dry, and with less glue per sq ft. (.95 to 1.1 ozs rathe...

Re: glue chipping...........
...Thanks bob, ..............it does looks good! I'll do more test...see how different ratios react on light table. I like this light table method! How did you do the chip on this piece, and can you create it at will?? Or a fern,……? there must be a way of predictability? I really like that aggressiv...

Geary, interesting that you mention Carl Rohrs. He shared part of my Santa Cruz barn studio with me in 80-81. I don't think I've ever seen him post on this forum.

. It’s good to see your smiling presence again Noel. I still use the maulstick I left behind at one of your early gold workshops, or maybe a conclave….. you and David Smith somehow mailed it back to me from china (authentic postage and all).... keeping quick size drives my nutty..........
I don’t use quick size very often because my preference is to use slow, but I do like having a ½ pint of it around for certain applications now and then. My problem with quick size (be it Rolco or One Shot) is that I can never seem to have it stay fluid in the can or squeeze bottles very long before...

...........hahaaaaaaaa , Doug, that is exactly how I approach all my work...if it's not fun...I have not interest.... and don't take the work. And hopefully with the selected work I make a living. Someday I may figure out how to make as much money as I do having fun.
