Re: Applying mother of pearl to reverse glass
I typically do not adhere the shell in a visible area any more, unless it is really small & done with the correct super glue. A better way for big areas is to first Clear Laquer the sheet, let dry,.... usually both sides then rotate the sheet to find the best appearance. Cut the sheet around 1/2...

Re: Screen Mesh
Better to use wooden blocks or maybe blocks with threaded adjusters also....double stick those to the window then just drop the screen in place when ready, it can be preloaded before placing it there, that way there is less likely to be ink dripping everywhere. Make sure you have enough standoff fro...

The 3 panels are actual pieces for the attendees, everyone gets a pre-etched panel to speed up the work, they will also get to Acid Etch & Glue Chip another piece to experience the techniques. The panels were screened with an experimental resist being developed by Pat Mackle & it worked very...

Hi Anthony, Toy Crafters sign was designed by Noel B. Weber and built by Kevin Mills at Classic Design Studio in the mid nineties. We sculpted the characters out of clay then made molds and cast them in resin. I may still have the molds. The letters are PVC. The overall size of the sign is about 3' ...
