have followed with interest and sounds like dust on the CCD sensor to me also Goldie. There was a kit they offered me when I got my D70 which I declined as I won't be changing lenses for quite a while. This is the time(according to reports) that the dust becomes an issue. Hold on Dudes....that copying to transparency stuff is WAY old hat. I have a 20 or so year old Artograph 500 (opaque) and is worth it's weight in gold! Well without being there it is REAL hard to tell whats going on....although I have a guess or three.....the surface was contaminated before size....the surface wasn't preped properly....one of the layers of paint is coming off with the gold attached....or just one of those idiot darn things that hap...
