no gilding involved, just gold metallic paint.

i used a scumble glaze made of burnt sienna and acrylic clear to make the painted corner flourishes look aged.

Hi Catherine, I used Behr brand crackle medium. I paint the sign, then i apply a coat of behr crackle. after it dries for approx. 45 minutes, i appl a coat of acrylic matte clear. after it dries overnight i scumble the crack color into the cracks and wipe with a damp rag, this defines the cracks. ho...
