Re: New Video
Thanks everyone, I think it helps when the filmmaker doesn't know what you do. It's an education for him as well so he try's to make it make sense to a general public.
We have another one that will be coming out soon. It's totally different so hold on to your seat for that one.

My question would be why use mirror plex ? You can do all the thing Mike talked about with it but deep carve. The only application I can think of is using it for a fun house mirror so you could bend it.

I love the internet. I got a call from an artist in Denmark who needed a glass head silvered. It's the first time I have ever mirrored anything on the first surface so it took a few try's. This Neil Young song came into my head when I started working on it. "We've been through some things toget...

Re: Transparent Glaze - How to question?

Re: cut out dimensional lettering.
Over here we have a auto body primer that is polyester resin based that already ready has all the Talc like fillers in it making it very sandable. It works great over HDU.
Sad I didn't use that system on this job.
Hey Lee, Did you use white or black on that market job ?

Sorry I should have been more specific. These letters would be from 1" to 2" thick and could be any shape and size within a 4' x 8'. For years I was using Gator Board with great success but on the last project the face on the front is delaminating after about a year outside. I thought abou...

I don't get out on the job site much anymore so when a local surf shop / coffee house owner asked me to do some lettering on his new building I jumped at the chance. Nothing fancy. The downside , it was about 100 d next to the wall yesterday.
