Re: Paints for drawing on the glass on the back side

Vitaly,

search for screen print ink, also know as silk screen ink. Get thinner compatible with your ink, as well as hardener. For a small amount of paint, add 1-2 drops of hardener. Get FDE (fast drying enamel) if available.

Re: LHSS backing black. What that?

Andrey, as Terry posted, LetterHead Sign supply: http://letterheadsignsupply.com/index.php?route=common/home Since you're located in Europe, I'd imagine shipping/customs would add considerably to the cost. An alternative would be screen inks, specifically FDE, which is fast dry enamel, that can be u...

Hi Will, I'll hazard a guess, though most sling a brush considerably more than I: contamination, either in the paint, the brush or the glass itself. I'm sure you've given each some thought, and eliminated them; you're certainly not new to the field as I remember... How old is the paint, have you tri...

The photo shows two vertical pieces of lumber, higher than your ceiling height, that could be wedged between the floor and ceiling,or could be attached to the wall at the top if the ceiling's too high. What's illustrated looks to be 1" x 4s; you'd be better off with 2" x 4s, which would pro...

Trip, the transparent inks are regular transparent screen printing inks by Nazdar, and other screen ink suppliers. They are the most resistant to effects of UV. Most only need a small amount of ink, the minimum order for screen inks are in quarts. Have you checked out Bruce Jackson's site? If not, d...

Yes, it is getting some national news, even from the land of shakes. When the earth moves, nothings going to stop it.

Here's a photo of the house in a local paper, San Francisco Chronicle, probably the same as run in Jackson Hole.

Hi Terry, not sure what you mean by 'I am not sure what paints can be posted'. If that's in regards to a supplier or paint brand by name, post away. Brush work only

Kim Ross in Arizona asked me to post these.

Alan Scott is a friend of Kim's living and working a town nearby. He is a sign painter, with home base being his van behind him sans computer.

Accordingly, all his work is with pencil, brush and paint.
