Just wanted to share the finished product. Picked up the silvered mirror on Monday, framed it and delivered it.
The silvering came out perfect. I used 1shot hardener in the black backup paint (wasn't an issue)

It finished chipping yesterday, I gilded it today.....still have more to do on it.
Gonna mirror it next week if all goes according to plan.

Its plinkin' away at the moment, should be finished by tomorrow morning at the rate its goin.
I did upload the photos in the wrong order, so the 1st photo you see is the last photo I shot when it started chipping.

I use Mack Brush conditioner. Works great. Doesn't evaporate and doesn't change viscosity also cleans out quick with mineral spirits. Tranny fluid is ok...., but I find the fisheye problem arises.....
