thanks vance.
no gilding involved, just gold metallic paint.
i used a scumble glaze made of burnt sienna and acrylic clear to make the painted corner flourishes look aged.

Mark, a very nice piece. Now if you tell us where you shipped it we will really know where the Department of They is.
What are the applied corner pieces, wood, resin casting, or?
