For all you sign fans, book fans, fine art fans and collectors of odd stuff, the silent auction for the Renata Guzman Cancer Fund is now LIVE!! We have stuff up for bid like you wouldn't believe.

Recognize any of these names? Oatis, Weber, Anderson, Hueg, Zanetti, Beaudette, Cotnam, Wallis, Bortz, Bernhardt, Lang, Chapman, Malicoat, Smith, Welsh, Wills, Atkinson, Deaton, Estes, Neve, Coplen, Percell?

If so, you'll want to see these items - and likely bid on them. First class people - first class stuff.

As many of you know, Renata and Ray Guzman are from Hoboken, NJ. They won numerous awards when they were focused on the sign business. They broke away to focus more on design work a few years back (but are back doing some again due to the cause of this fundraiser) and when 9/11 hit the NYC area, many design firms were decimated. They limped throught - but in November of last year, Renata was diagnosed with breast cancer.

To help them through the rough period they are now facing, their friends have banded together to provide a little 'cushion'. Go here and take a look at what's up for bid:
http://www.letterhead.com/cgi/auction22 ... egory=sign

You DO have to register to bid - just follow the instructions - or email the webmasters, Steve and Barb Shortreed for help getting registered.

If you buy something or not, please say a prayer for this strong woman - and this wonderful and supportive husband. Thanks - and good luck!!
