east coast source for screens

Post by cam bortz »

:?: I'm planning to backscreen a couple of glass jobs in the near future, and need a source hear on the east coast for pre-made screens and emulsions. Any recommendations appreciated.

Garston Screen supplies, know nothing about them, located in Haverhill, MA. Tubelite and Midwest Sign & screen supplies are other good sources, but probably not in MA.

For emulsions, I use Ulano FX-88. For short runs, with only 100 pulls or less, you only need one coat on each side. Unless your already set up to do screen printing, find a source that makes, coats and burns, providing a ready to use screen.

For printing on glass, check out Hard to find supplies on the green page. Sericol's FDE - fast dry enamel works best for back up.

Edit:

Thought you were in MA, looks like it's CT. Close enough...that's why it's nice to see location included.

Tubelite is in NJ, there is also Glantz, they are everywhere and been around a long time.
