These searches, on the web, give me a very deep appreciation for how difficult it most have been for Rick Glawson early on in his research. No web as we know it today. No biblio.com or ebay to find/buy the books needed for that research. How steadfast and persistent he had to be. How many queries/visits to libraries. How many letters and phone calls. How much TIME!
The one thing I really enjoy in all this, other than the discovery of the already discovered, is getting a small sense of the thrill he must have felt when he had one of those "Aha, that's how they did it!" moments. What a man he was.
