Treating Mirror Waste Water

Post by Sarah King »

It's not as sexy as Dave Smith's new gilders tip but I wanted to annouce that we have found a way to treat mirror runoff so you can pour it down the drain with a clear conscience. It is a flocculating clay that is specially formulated to absorb and isolate heavy metals. Add 15 g (1/2 tablespoon) to a gallon of waste. Shake and/or stir well. Let sit. Filter. Pour filtered water into the drain. Put sludge into the trash. It was developed by CDF Industries for the petrochemical industry and it's been tested for use on our products. Illustrated instructions can be seen at http://www.angelgilding.com/pdf/WasteTr ... rSmall.pdf and you can see our Waste Treatment Kits at http://www.angelgilding.com/supplies.asp#waste
