For those that may be interested in participating in a pinstriping panel jam at Cobo Hall in Detroit held in conjunction with the Detroit Autorama,you can register on-line for the event.
This is being held from February 26-28 2010 and we are looking to get about 125 stripers,sign artists,and airbrush artists of all skill levels to attend.
The charity this year is Leader Dogs for the Blind of Rochester Hills MI and 100% of the proceeds go directly to the charity.
If you cannot attend but would like to contribute an art piece to be auctioned your name will be added to our list of sponsors displayed prominently at the show.
If you would just like to come down and attend the show,please stop over to the jam and say hello and if you have a mind to get a brush or two wet.

Just an update on the panel jam:the 125 slots are filled as of last week.To those of you who are registered;thank you and we are looking forward to having a great time and raising some serious money for a worthwhile cause.

To all those who participated in the Detroit Autorama Charity Panel Jam,the members of the Motor City Auto Art Mavens and Leader Dogs for the blind offer a resounding THANK YOU!!!!
Through your efforts we managed to raised a tad over $40,000 over the 3 day show;all of which went to the charity.Except for a couple of last minute no-shows,virtually all 125 painters showed up and contributed their talents generously.Note to AJ:I missed seeing you my friend.
The best part of the show for me was to get together with old friends and have the war stories start flowing again.Can't get a whole lot better than that.The quality of the work was amazing;even from the relative newcomers.
Thanks to this board for allowing me to post this and if any of you are in the Detroit area next year,please feel free to stop by and say hello;maybe even get a brush wet!
