Hey Guys
Been a wee busy playing these last few months...
It started with a glass kiln, then decided I better not use it to cast metals in and decided it best to build a furnace (found some 24" steel pipe for a furnace), so we just got in the refractory materials for a furnace (and are currently in the process of making our own vitreous wheels for cutting) so I figured I might as well gear up for some lost wax for brass/bronze temps along with the aluminum...then turned towards the glass molds I am going to create out of metal for blowing...and then throw some metal into some sand/ lost wax pieces and then it led me to metals casting for my lathes that I can create my own tooling for, then I might as well make my own copper engraving wheels since they are pretty strait forward as well....now building some glass lathes and even recreating some blow mold effects that dates back before steuben and a lot of great art nouveau design that combined metal with glass...which then turned into a refractory materials purchase for both my pours and creating a blow hole and all mobile so that we don't have fire issue inside the building....and then I figured last week that my sourcing the glass panels to spec would be stupid so we are going to make our lead crystal glass for carving and designing the furnace for that now...but the goal is the same...X-mas or bust!!......but it has been one heck of a fun ride....just a wee bit more expensive than I thought it would be!...

BUT...just coming back in from a major trade show in Vegas put us in a real nice position to do some fun stuff...and I'm not cheap! I also would throw out there that anyone dedicating their time into learning this craft will soon realize the value from an entirely new audience...watch!...I am very excited and have been over the last couple of years of the prospects and how my clients have been reacting to my work...and I don't do quantity in anything.
Anyway...another little surprise is coming very soon...as I continue to bring back or retain materials/processes that were once cherished by our craft. The 21st is the kicker!...and working on two more with positive results so far...but will let y'all know when I succeed....
AS FOR THE VARNISH
If Larry W. is still interested I will send some out to him and he can disburse...30qt...100.00gal. I did not mean to drop the ball Larry but I have been way busy!...
I have the spar and the quick rub....and will drop the nut for the Fibroseal this fall when I begin using it in my products...and will then let y'all know...cool?
