What paint would you use to letter black top, I have to paint some logos on a asphalt basketball court,Thanks Bill

You might begin by contacting some parking lot striping companies and ask what type of paint they use.

Bill,
I don't know if they still sell it, but I used to buy Sherwin William's "Traffic Marking White", as recommended by Monte Jumper.
When I did a google search for it, the results displayed quite a few different links to different kinds of paint for asphalt and concrete.

602 and regular block out are the same formulation as the solvent based traffic marking paints. Latex acrylic will kill the bleed though.
