Wow, I got a really good feeling looking at all those hand painted embellishments. Really sets off the buildings! I like the way
they include the painted shadows to make the elements look so dimensional. It all makes it seem so quaint and unique. Sort of cheery-like.
Just think if the graffiti artists in L.A. could aspire to doing handsome architectural additives like this, how picturesque and bright
Los Angeles could become. A true photo opportunity with unique areas people would flock to see.

Nothing short of beautiful! Can't help but wonder what the
sign police of our local communities would have to say if we
tried to do something similar. I think I'm going to paint my
garage door and see if I don't ruffle some feathers.

Thanks Erik,
Those pictures are very beautiful and very inspiring. I'm half finished a small (8'x8') mural from a picture I took of one of the buildings in Prague. It is an illusionary mural and it makes me really appreciate the depth and realism in the pictures you posted. Hopefully I'll find time to finish it soon and shoot you off a photo. :) Don't expect it to be that good though . ;) If you have more pictures of these painted houses I'd love to see them!
I believe there is no shame in failure. Rather, the shame lies in the loss of all the things that might have been, but for the fear of failure.
