Just to say Hi as the newest member of the site, and what an impressive place it is too!

I'm completely new to the reverse glass techniques (and signwriting for that matter) but have drifted across from doing stained glass work, though only as a hobby unfortunately.

I was recently lucky enough to spend a day with Dave Smith in Torquay learning the basics of gilding on glass, and am now trying to practice the techniques he taught me. It was a real pleasure to meet Dave and his family, and to be able to explore his workshop. Talk about being inspired!

So thank you for sharing your collective knowledge via this site, and apologies in advance if I ask the odd obvious question.

I've found this art & craft fascinating for the last dozen years or so.
There's probably not a question you could ask that the answer isn't already on here.
Keep in mind to do a search of the older posts, there's a ton of information on here.
