That is a nice piece. I wonder how much of the bottom was cut off of it.

Yeah, Pat. It's a beautiful sign and looks like it's in great condition but I too wonder what the original size was and what was cut off the bottom. I'm sure that affects the value of the sign but if I had the cash and lived in the Chicago area I'd be tempted to snatch it up.
I love that volcano pictorial in the center. I bet those folks in Pomeii wish they had been insured with Aetna!

Two bidders. One did a last minute snipe and ran up to $679.00, but that price was "declined", so I guess it was below the minimum set by the seller.
I have to say that I think it is irritating to have a blind minimum, so you don't know what the seller is willing to do. It feels more like a fishing expedition.
