Lewis & Mathews glass sign...

Post by Larry White »

I had posted this under Roderick's topic, but figured I'd give
it it's own...I'm still at it... 8)

I just delivered this latest 28" x 16" commissioned glass sign.

Hand drew the main title, then vectored it.
Used some Mike Jackson ornaments.
Computer fonts on the rest.
Sandcarved the majority of the text, borders,
ornaments, and panels...finished in gold mica powder.
Two tone mica powder on the main copy drop shadows.
Painted marble panel, with rouge gold water gild & abalone.
Sandcarved signatures with paladium drop shadows.
Blended panels on slogans. Green blended background.

Larry seen that in the other thread... looks nice.
Sure I paint thing for my amusement and then offer them for sale. A brushslinger could whither en die from lack of creativity in this plastic town my horse threw a shoe in.
