Just a quik note to introduce myself - I recently started pinstriping and airbrushing and plan on adding lettering as well. I appreciate any suggestions on getting started with lettering - books, videos, practice media as well brushes.

Hi all,
Welcome to the newcomers! This Forum is loaded with great information and will probably be well worth reading through all the old posts.

If that isn't enough, make sure you visit the old Forum at:
http://www.theletterheads.com/wwwboard/multipage1.html

It is equally loaded, but it has been disabled. Feel free to copy and paste old posts into new ones here if you want to continue one of those old topics.

Lastly, just in case you haven't found it, make sure you go through all the Feature Articles on the main portion of the site at the link at the top of this post. There is a treasure chest of great information and goodies.

Enjoy!

Hi Bigpapa,
Welcome on board, the best way is to try and attend a letterhead meeting, learn from the guys with experience who are willing to share their knowledge, and practice, practice, practice, it looks easy when you see a traditional signwriter pushing the paint but it takes a lifetime to learn, I've been at it for over 30 years and am still learning.

Thanks for the suggestions and the welcome. I have been looking for a meet in the area or close, but haven't had any luck yet. I'll keep on the lookout!
