Advice needed!

Hello everyone,
I need to a painted glass, the bottom part i can manage- some lettering with silver leaf gilding- the top part is what is bothering me, can i paint with acrylic? Check the link, its the two signs in the corner.

Not knowing for sure, I would think you can not paint with acrylic on reverse glass.

Someone else with experience of doing that might say you can and that it's OK to do so.

I don't think it will grip the glass, nor flow out to the glass from a brush well enough.

But...you can always try it on a small piece of test glass.

Do not use it.
Acrylic can be peeled of the glass like a non sticking piece of chewing gum.
Realizing we are in the 2nd renaissance of the arts.
Learn, copy and trying to improve...
Still in the learning phase ;-)

Thank you for your sugestions, I'll probably going to use a opaque glass paint.

Why not paint the pictorial on a separate board and mount it behind the glass (with a spacer so it doesn't touch the glass)?
