LHSS backing black. What that?

Hello, guys! I was looking for how to achieve a smooth edge with gilding. And found a few posts, which refers about LHSS backing black.
But i don't know what this. Can you tell me? And also I want to know what you're doing backups.

I believe that would be "Letterhead Sigh Supply". They have a back up paint. I have very little experience with it so can't really comment much about it.

Since you're located in Europe, I'd imagine shipping/customs would add considerably to the cost.

An alternative would be screen inks, specifically FDE, which is fast dry enamel, that can be used for screen printing or thinned, for brush work. In the US, brands as Nazdar and IDE are two companies that provide this type ink.

A search in your area for screen printing suppliers would carry a similar product.
