Flashed Glass

Post by Will_ Lynes »

Hey Guys,

Does anyone know how to determine which side the 'colour' is on with a piece of flashed glass? For Sandblasting.

Cheers

will, the only way I know is to give a close look at the edge...you should be able to tell which side the color is on

I agree with Vance, the only real way to tell is to look from the edge. I have a stash of flash glass and after careful examination I found that one side was smooth and the other had some texture to it. I examined every piece and found that the smooth side was always the color side. I got all this glass from one manufacturer so I don't know if that result is true for all flash glass. Hope that helps.
