Robin SharrardI did a sample of the Krylon Looking Glass paint over a piece of glue chipped glass (piece on the left). The piece on the right is standard silver deposition over glue chip. The silver is a little more reflective than the paint. The silver tends to go a bit darker in the remaining sandblast areas than does the paint. The paint has a brighter more aluminum look to it. The paint would have its limitations as you could not backup the areas you would want to keep and remove the rest like with silvering. But for those not set up for silvering this option looks pretty darn nice. A little imagination in its application could go a long way.

Vance GalliherWhy not back up those special areas with another pre-cut mask, or paint on mask, before spraying? If you need to protect the spray on mirror, would schelack work? Just a thought...Robin
