Okay....let's say I am one of the readers. The site host asks for some interesting links.

Go find a link, and copy the URL into the clipboard (Control-C)
Find this thread, then go to the top and click POST REPLY.
Click in the Message box here, and fill out the name of the site:

Vintage Signs:

Then his ENTER to go to a new line.

Then hit Control-V to paste in the URL.
http://www.vintagesigns.com/

Select the url with your mouse, and click URL in the group of code boxes above. That puts the code at the beginning and end. If you want, click the B button to make it bold face.

http://www.vintagesigns.com/

You did it! Hit submit.

Hi Mark,
That is a very cool web site. Maybe we should make a new thread called:

Knock Your Socks Off (non-sign sites)

Until we decide to do that, people can just post links here in this thread.

When we get a LONG list, with the help of all the readers, I will try to organize them into a permanent page.

Hi Jay,
Wow, those are some wonderful Flash sites. Those guys are pushing the boundaries. There examples are well worth the time to visit.

To everyone,
I started my list a while back and have been adding sites as I find them or think of them. Quite a few link to sites by the Original Letterhead group, or early members.

If you have a sign web site, add it here, and when I organize the final page, the sign web sites will all go together. This might be a time for shameless self promotion! If you have a site, list it here!

Jay, do you want to list your door site? It would be welcomed.

Again, everyone here should have at least a half dozen favorite sign related or artistically related web sites. I know I've seen a lot of sites showing old glass work, old vintage signs, and vintage artwork, but it takes time to find them to list.

Have a great day,
Mike

Mike,

While we still have the patent for our door panel product, Adoornments, I pulled the plug as it was draining our finances.

My partner in charge of securing investment dollars was ineffective - at best. Nuff said. Trying to self-finance any product is just short of impossible. It takes hundreds of thousands of dollars to try to crack a retail market. While the sign business has been good to us - it hasn't been that good!!

But hey, to contribute to this cool thread . . . . here's our website for ShawCraft Sign Co.

If anyone sees links to some of the nice sites in the recent Old Forum additions, maybe they could help us by pasting them into this thread.

I know I saw quite a few when browsing over them.

Check out this page. Click on the Posters page. I believe you will really enjoy them. Also, note the Postcards. They are relatively CHEAP. I have a set of them here that I have purchased off the rack at some of the Yellowstone Gift Stores over the years. I went to the site today, hoping he had created a book....not yet!
