A package came in the mail...it was...well...a present...from my daughter.
How about that, it was a book on the Salton sea...but wait a minute, wait just a minute...
I had seen most all the books published on the Salton Sea, but I never saw this one.
As I opened the book, I recognized the first photograph! Low and behold, the whole
book was created by my daughter with all her photographs from our adventures at
the Salton Sea...all 120 pages!
This book is really, really nice. Hardcover and all! She arranged the whole thing for
a college class project using Adobe In-Design, and had it produced at Blurb.com.
At Blurb.com, you can create a book, publish it, and even sell it through their website.
A very nice portfolio book could be created as a sales tool. Or English could publish a
book on all his glass signs, or Rod could do one on spray silvering, or glue chipping.
Guess it would be pretty much limitless, the prices seem reasonable too! Check it out!

Hi Larry,
I recognized that your daughter has a great eye and photographic talent when I saw the video she put together of the slabs.
Noticed it in the first few minutes. Happy Birthday and hope to break some sushi together soon.
