Here is a jpeg of the finished artwork so far minus the flower art......we are in Boise acid etching the panels ready for the meet.We are printing an acid resist for the Hydrofloric acid.....The resist is an experimental batch from Pat Mackle, so far so good, more on that later.
Mike I hear you may be attending the workshop next month?...................

Just looked through the boise photot's, brilliant stuff. Thanks for the share.
The Toycrafters world sign interested me, does anyone know how the figures were made please, was it with gorilla glue or using cnc maching?
Thanks

Hi Anthony,
Toy Crafters sign was designed by Noel B. Weber and built by Kevin Mills at Classic Design Studio in the mid nineties. We sculpted the characters out of clay then made molds and cast them in resin. I may still have the molds. The letters are PVC. The overall size of the sign is about 3' by 5'. We have the sign in our studio storing for the client.
John Studden is here in Boise this weekend. We are preparing for a workshop the first of October. Just finished the acid etch on ten panels.
We will send progress photos.

I spent a short while today looking over the shoulder of Noel Weber and John Studden as they prepared sample pieces for the upcoming Ten-Ten-Ten workshop. Very nice indeed. It is always a pleasure to watch these master artisans at work. For any of you who will be attending the workshop, I'm sure you will be in for a treat. I forgot to ask if all the seats are taken...call Noel at 208-336-2769 if you are interested. Noel and John...great looking project!
