Finished Embossed Cigar Glass
The Artwork is based upon a Monogram Cigar Label I have then Redrew/digitized along with some LHF lettering on parts that I couldn't decipher from my photos along with some Mike Jackson accents. (Special Thanks to Larry White for the Acid info.) This was a 12x18 practice piece for Staged Acid Emboss...

Re: Mica Magaritas
Ingrid, This was more of an experiment of "can I grind my own Mica" then "should I grind my own mica" when comparing time spent vs cost of pre-package mica.. You're probably ahead just buying it in large quantities. All I could find locally was little 4oz bottles for $6. After ta...

Wow,
If it wasn't for the behind scenes section on his website you would swear they were just photoshop generated layered "paintings" which in itself would be amazing but adding all the live shots and cropping all that. It's insane.. (In a good sense)
Thanks for that link Mike.

Old Gold and Glass
Doing some Glass work in the mountains for a Museum and came across these in their back rooms. Thought you all might like seeing them. Looks like some Acid Etching on the Dubuque Sign and Does. Does anyone know how they did the foil work on the Reliance Sign. Initial Look it it looked chipped but on...
