Re: Nigel Eyden
Erik, Not that surprised that you can't find much on Nigel. A very talented, very nice, but unassuming man. When I was last in contact with him he had a sign firm called Signfx. You could do a search on that, he is/was based in the Burton-on-Trent area of the UK (if memory serves). I seem to remembe...

I have found if you do not remove the mask or at least run a knife around the edges. The tension of the glue acts on the vinyl and pulls that up from the glass, before the glue has hardened properly, which as a result, lifts the glue from around the edge of the blasted part. So you have a unchipped ...

Sorry to hijack a thread, but I wanted to ask Sarah if she would expand on a point she has made above. You have already told me about the vinyl masks for the gold and silver. You mentioned the excellent results you have had with the copper, my question is this; are the results as good with the silve...

Thank you all so much. Larry you have set my mind at ease, you have a knack of demystifing these things, that is a real gift. Do you not use cerium oxide at all, or just not in the chipped areas? Doug you are so rude! thanks for the tips, sorry I have not been in touch recently, I wanted to congratu...

Thanks for all the updates, amazing! As a usual lurker this will take me ages to trawl through! I feel very guilty when Mike asks everyone else for input on this BB, for not contributing, but Mike, and I know this has been said and I know you have answered this point, but it is intimidating for us m...
