Re: A different kind of lettering

Nice fine Danny, great to see someone finding thier happy place...And I too believe people are looking for that handcrafted appeal, and whether they know it or not, it's the good layouts and executed signs that stand out in the digital world of today...We certainly have found that here, and it's wor...

Finally able to get back on(cpu stuff)...Dave, Tony couldn't have said it better...love everything, but the thing that turns my crank too, are those hand drawings...I guess its a way of seeing how your head & hand work and as Doug mentioned earlier, shows just how much study and research goes into t...

A fishy sign

Pat has been fishing.
Another Christmas client sign is complete and ready to go out the door. It is clear cedar with Bert's recess carved, the raised fish is carved from HDU and airbrushed with latex. The rest is 1shot painted on top of Nazdar clear.
The sign is 2 feet tall by 20 inches wide.

Yes Ron, this is two layers of one inch HDU, routed to allow a 3/4 inch box steel frame to sit in...There is paintable silicon only where the steel frame comes thought the HDU on the ends. This allow the steel frame freedom to expand and contract in the heat and cold since HDU does not expand. the r...
