ICS is International Correspondence School. When it started, it was a real school, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. It's pretty much a joke now, offering college degrees by mail. Great tip with the marbles. When I was little, my dad built a lot of oak furniture. I totally forgot about him putting BBs in the cans (shellac, varnish, stain - don't remember which). I've done a few that came off in sheets like that. I think part of my problem was the glue layer was too thin.
