Hi Rodney, If you plan on selling your fonts I would recommend fontlab. There is much more work involved than just drawing up vectored letters though if you plan on selling. I just let the glue dry to a brushable consistancy and kind of lettered it on.
Here is an example that were for gasoline pump globes. Hope this helps.
