Illustrator CS: Saving files to earlier version Illustrator?

I've had a few emails from someone using Illustrator CS, but they are having trouble saving Illustrator CS files in Version 6 or Version 3. I've suggested everything I know, but I am only using Illustrator 10 and have not moved up to Illustrator CS (11). So, I guess I am asking this question for the...

Quick clip of a man making gold leaf

http://www.theletterheads.com/lhparts/crossroadsgold.html Here's another short clip of a guy pounding little strips of gold into gold leaf. This came Charles Karault's Sunday morning Crossroads show from about 1983. Someone told me who the old guy was, but it has been too long and I didn't write it...

Doug,
We use black charcoal powder in a Hand-See box, along with another Hand-See box with spanish whiting or talc. We usually have an old t-shirt filled with blue chalk line powder. On occasions, we use rouge or cerrium oxide.

John, When I started in 1973, I purchased two subscriptions to ST. I cut one up and then kept one in a file cabinet. After 30 years, I pretty much gave up on the duplicates and put most of them in the recycle bin, keeping the stuff I cut out for the morgue. As far as I am concerned, the only ones th...
