In the left hand column, click on the "Prices Realized" to see what has been paid for similar items in the past. There are some thick wallets at those auctions.
Larry, thanks for the eye opener.

In the picture that shows the glue leveled around the letters CIG, it appears that you etched it about 1/16 of an inch deep. Did you actually go that deep, or is it just the reflection of the lighting around the edge of the letters that makes it appear that way? Your detailed description and excelle...

Hi Cat...thanks for posting the question. I don't have an answer to your question, but I would like to ask one of my own. What is the proper way to store the unused glue? Is it poured into a plastic container and placed in the refrigerator or freezer? Has anyone every used one of those vacuum sealer...

Varnish mixture
Larry, As you posted this tutorial, much of which is far beyond my capability to understand, you stated the following about mid-way through the thread: "I proceeded to apply a liberal coat of 50/50 mixture of WW Window Spar varnish and Damar varnish . I then sprinkled it with a mix of glass gli...

One...two...three
A three legged "horse" with a split hoof...umm, rare animal. Pile that carcass on the ant hill and they'll clean it right up. Gonna need a real skinny saddle.

Dave, Great job on the video presentations. The girls did a super job as models...they do seem to have the technique down quite well. You have revolutionized something that has been around for eons of time. I congratulate you on your success with the Smith Tip. While at Noel's shop, I eyeballed his ...

Pat, In reference to your post of March 9th, you stated that you filled the pvc cap with glue and timed how long it took to drain. I can't find anywhere that you stated how long that time was...can you divulge how long a proper batch of glue should take to drain out of the cap?? A side note, I lived...

How did you make contact with them to set up your account...did you call the 800 number or email them? We have a tax number so that sho...

Picture Frame Moulding
Do any of you know of a company that will sell picture frame moulding, in stick form, on a small scale? I want to do my own framing and most of the companies that I've found on Google state that a buyer needs to be in the retail frame business to purchase from them. I just started my search this wee...

Resin Roller
At the workshop here in Boise, Noel and John use a resin roller to level the hide glue for glue chipping. Since Noel is out of town, I'll throw my question out to the forum. Do any of you know where these rollers can be purchased. We don't have any fiberglass shops in town so the local sources may b...

WB... Thank you for the clarification. I thought I might have been leaning over while viewing the picture on the monitor. Roderick, Your web page really looks nice. It was easy to navigate and the selection of eye candy was a pleasure to look at. I'm not a web page guy, nor do I have one, but I have what may be a dumb question. Is there an easy way to be able to click on your pictures and have them open up in a much la...

Larry, Do you have a favorite supplier for the Venture Tape Sandblast Resist? I've been using the Avery white paint mask, which is about a 4 mil product. Most of my etching is done at 30 psi or lower. At that pressure, I haven't had any problems with blow offs but I really have to concentrate on not...

Nice to see you over here
Hey, Rich, nice to see you over in this forum. For those of you who don't know Rich, he is one gifted craftsman when it comes to stained glass. Name search
Ray,
I did a quick search on www.switchboard.com and it listed three Carl Stoiber's in Toledo, Ohio; ages were, 33, 33, and 44.
Edited to add: I did a search by last name only at www.dexonline.com and it listed 10 or 11 people in or around the Toledo area.
Good luck in your search.

Housing Accomodations
I'm happy to report that my offer to house a couple of workshop attendees has been accepted. Right now, there is no longer room at the inn. If any of those who have requested housing change their mind, I will re-open this post and update the housing availability.
Thank you.
Dennis

Housing in Boise
Hello all, Since I reside in Boise, I thought I'd offer to house one or two people in our home while you attend the workshop. If you commute by automobile, then I can direct you or lead you to Noel's shop from our home. If you are coming by commercial air carrier, then I could pick you up at the air...
