Yes Dan the other glass is also there and I think it reads the same as this one. Your probably correct on the front fascia text ,looks like the owners done it himself. I made a small brilliant cut panel last week and hand obscured it the same way as you explained Pat. I used the silicon carbide abra...

The top photo is a glass piece I finished a few months ago for a client here in Torquay. The step-by-step on this sign is a tribute to Rick Glawson on how he went about making his building scenes in acid. It will hopefully appear in Sign Business in a few months time. The Sign with Family Stores is ...

Some nice acid work on this sign and love the way the gold is breaking down in the corners, would be cool to achieve that effect (the aged look) Also like the beveled glass letters on the bottom. Doug really did a great job taking all these photo's some e...

Back up Enamel

Hi Mike.
Can you help me with this one.
I am trying to track down a post I think you wrote on Sericols back up enamel about 2yrs ago. I remember you saying about Rick adding an orange fragrance to the enamel. Do you still have that post?
Thanks
Dave.

Hi Raymond. I have been blasting tempered glass at high presure without any problems. As Jeff mentioned, keep the nozzle moving on the blasting area. Have you thought about laminated glass? I work with this for architectural jobs. This works fine for chipping and acid etching, I have even started us...
