The weight was certainly very heavy I know at the time of cutting I had 2 25 kilogramme weight training plates on the end.It was kind of hard in a small space to do the cutting but I managed to fight each object as I came to it. I think I could go bigger on panel size but w...

Wow! Doug you pulled it off again mate. Astonishing workmanship! I think all those trips to England photographing old pubs have certainly paid off with your style. If you were around 100 years ago over here I bet your name would be on every pub sign, this is as good as it gets..... The Queen of Engl...

Re: New Smith Tip
Leo. The new tip has a square section of brass at the end, it encaspsulates all the hairs and looks nice and neat, thats the only change. The size of the tip is exactly the same as the older version, the colour of the box is now in deep burgundy.

Re: Victoria and Albert Museum , London glass
Thankyou ! You will notice this text needs to go up slightly on the panel , it looks to low, they gave all the artists strict dimensions and placement of every sign. I nearly left off the shade because of this.

The shades in the centre of the lettering were first white acid etched .The entire panel would have been covered with Brunswick black and then lead foil placed over the black for a second coat of protection against acid leakage and pinholes from the process. The brunswick was removed with spi...
