Mr. T.S.,
That's one fine looking sign there! Did you have any problems with the sign permit?

Sir David, another absolutely Dy-No-Mite piece of stunning glasswork. I agree with Larry, you're certain to be in the history books. Thanks for sharing -

Just gotta ask - What does the vertical lettering say? Is it Chinese or Japanese?

Re: History Channel - 'Pawn Stars'
Larry - Unfortunately there was no mention of Rick or where the fortune teller came from. But I definately recalled seeing that glass piece when Rick was working on it. The other items were not auctioned off on the program, but were hung on the wall to the left of auctioneer. I recognized a couple o...

History Channel - 'Pawn Stars'
Did anyone see Pawn Stars last night on the History Channel? Sure looked like some Rick's work there, especially Estrella the fortune teller. Lots of great memories in those glass pieces.
Wonder who's collection those pieces came from?

Dave thank you for sharing the photo and to Lee for sending it to you. This glass piece is truly amazing, not to mention drop dead gorgeous! That would definitely make a statement if it was in the shop front door. I also agree with Raymond, you would surely need a well defined game play to pull this...

Re: London Pubs From the lense of Mr Bernhardt
Thanks for the feedback guys. What a real shame to lose so much history and tradition. When I think of Europe, though I've never been there, the pubs is one of the first things I think about. A place where all the locals can go and enjoy the friendship of their neighbors over a pint. A real loss. :c...

Greetings Dave,
Is it just the world economy that is causing all these pub closures or are there less obvious reasons?

Well Rod, that is a great looking finished piece. I hope that the shipper takes great care of it and that it arrives in once piece. I do feel obligated to point out the fact that I don't think the project was a successful one though - it looks nothing like the original art work you posted.

Ya, I learned that trick from a fella, fella name a, Rick Glawson. The process requires double chipping the glass, in order to define a clean line between the chipping and the sandblasted etch texture. Speaking of Daddy Fine Gold... I finished up this nice little "Fine Gold Sign Co." piec...

Looks good Rob! What did you use for the substrate and is the design done in paint or leaf? Hard to tell from pics.
