Re: new mural, with a bit of hand lettering

Hi Patrick,

Mural is painted on 1/2"MDO, benjamin moore interior latex and artist acrylics,
inside the community room of the Lodi Library.
The poplar wood frame was donated by a local custom woodworking company,
painted to match the darkest color I used in the mural.

Excellent, Mr. White, and very convincing.

Tell me, what method did you use, I'm mean did you do this free hand?

Re: Original Dead Men

Like my brothers of the brush, I'd been various letterhead meets, and I was good at hand letterin. But hand letterin didn't allow for much expansion of the soul. So after the end of the Gilder's Conclaves in Wilmington and a year of fighting emotions... ... I turned in my commission and rode away to...

Re: Artists brush and acrilyc .

I'm puzzled by this... your topic is titled 'Artists brush and acrylic' There are many different kinds of brushes in this world, my friend, those for acrylics and watercolors, and those for oils. Which medium are you using? rounds are good for painting pictorials, not good for lettering. A chisled e...

I used to have a shop with a nice storefront, gold leaf window, colors, etc. I've been working out of our home now for 15 years, still wondering how much work I might have missed without that storefront. But, today, I see more and more storefronts...
