Larry, To begin with your last comment: The logo I am painting is very detailed and rather small, there is no way to paint this and esspecially not me who never did that before. So I am looking for a shortcut. I heard that brushing the outline with oooometalwool does get rid of the sharp edges. Seco...

Thanks for the hospitality gentleman! Getting more interesting everytime. The trade show will be in April 2009. Enough time to make some quality programming for the trip. Are there any other spots in the California area to visit as a Letterhead fan? For instance is the old shop front of Esoteric Sig...

Guys I want to thank you for your input. Larry very considered and cool of you to ask for an exact quote. I appreciate it! I will go on to work at it this weekend boss. It is just so incredibly bussy at the firm! Again I can not put enough emphasis on the importance of a clean cut website. Roderick ...

But did I pay way too much for my glass? Was the polished edge too much for my need? It seems to be somewhat the same as the mentioned 'common' edges shown by Larry... They will be my demo's to show to potential customers. I will slide them in a wooden suitcase I am going to make for them so I can t...

Feeling angry and stupid.... But the anxiety to start making some demo's was too much now that I have almost all my ingrediënts that I forgot to get a quote/invoice. But on the other hand the price Larry paid was about the same for the same kind of work am I correct? Can you please explain wh...

Prices for glass?
I just ordered some 20 pieces of glass. Asked for pure white (not the glass that has a green accent). Size: 20x20cm (7,87 inch x 7,87 inch). Thickness: 6mm (0.2364 inch). Asked to have the sides bevel polished, so that the pieces are somewhat more handeable... Just picked them up and the price I had...

Doming versus Routing
Mike, Thanks for your reply. I called the firm who sells (and is the specialist of) the epoxy and he sugested i should use an other kind of epoxy. "The first one i used is epoxy for moulding and very thin the second is used to brush on and even stays stuckon the ceiling, without dripping"....

Flat doming
I just domed acrylic routed letters about 10 inch high.
But i think the relief is rather flat.....
How can I create higher doming and still maintain some pourability?

We do not use the 'g' a lot, but do these things: http://www.signnovation.nl/files_cms/elementen/pagina/59771.jpg We glue the transparant 'males' to the back of the letters with cyano-acrylate glue. And screw the 'females' on the wall. Just press the 'males' on the backside of the letters into the '...

Questions...
I found the archive pieces, but they really speak numeral times about soap and not sap. I think i take the jokes to serious... But why soap. Later on I found the original patent of the one who used the glue chipping process, but he works with varnish as a resist to the glue. Did not know that...
