I've been working on Spencerian script for a while- would one of the offset pens or pen holders for that style be of use to a leftie? John Neal Booksellers has a great supply of pens, ink & information, as well-

Is there a particular sort of paper used for "paper banners"? If so, I'd be interested in source info... Or do people just use butcher paper? Any thoughts on "proper" paints for the job would also be helpful!

Lacquer thinner- again you have to practice a few times to find what is "not too wet"... good for carving rather than painting.

With the Spanjer type fancy carved letters- would the whole word (s) have been in the same fancy style, or just the initial letter? Having looked at the catalog page posted on the old forum, I'd think you could get fairly illegible quite quickly!
