Nice Work Jay!
Hey, remember when you was young...and those know-it-all folks told you to "pay attention and you just might learn something".
Remember that?
Good thing you were paying attention.
Keep up the good works!

There were only 53 pages of a supposedly 132 page catalog available. Still if you do not look at the page numbers..it looks and feels like a complete catalog. The ...

It still feels strange that they are no longer around.
I always looked forward to some new discovery from the folks at Fine Gold / Esoteric.

When learning how to letter, get a Speedball Lettering Book, lots of basic lettering tips and diagrams, great resource for beginning lettering. Also, learn to ...

Mike, how is your internet service hooked up to the computer? Phone line goes into the back of the computer, you may have to install a modem card which has a phone port on it, as some motherboards don't have a phone line jack. My Mac has a phone jack, My PC does not. There is also a RJ-45 network ja...

Gee Mike, why don't you use your computer as a fax machine? I use to fax out of it back in the day. Oil for Gold
As a commodity, I know the price of Oil is tied to World Events. And at the drop of a hat Oil prices can shoot up rather quickly. And go back down rather slowly. And that this nation depends a great deal on Foreign Oil. So why is it that Gold also does the same? Do we depend on Foreign Gold? Don't w...

Hey Bob, how thick is the glass? White Acid Etched or Sandblasted? It looks like it could be an R&E, some of the elements in the design are in some of the Sash and Door Hardware Catalogs I have, especially that Chicago concern of John A. Gauger & Co. and their Catalog of 1898. You might have...

Erik, That's a fine idea and offer for you to want to do that. Ideas on how to mark the site have also been discussed among the current living descendants of Mr. Evans. One would have to consider that where Samuel Evans Sr. is now buried is no longer Evans property. And that there is no public acces...
