I recall reading or hearing something about damping/wetting the surface of the blasted glass with water, prior to the application of the glue. Seems to me, that in doing this, you're washing away the sandblasting dust, which might be the reason for the glue's inability to adhere to the glass. Or...y...

Paint Mask Preference

I tried some MacTac masking a while back after I ran out of Gerber mask. The MacTac masking cut on the plotter, held the small details better, and stuck better to the glass with a lot less bleed than the gerber mask. I haven't tried it on anything else other than glass. Strongs Book Of Designs

Well according to the Title Page in the "1917 Edition"...it is printed "New and Enlarged Edition". And when I compare it to the "1910 Edition"....I see that the "1917 Edition" is indeed larger by about 4 pages...and some of the previous "1910 Edition"...

Silver Removal

Have you tried to dilute the silver strip?

I seem to remember doing that...I think I even mixed in some bon ami, by wiping the damped diluted silver strip rag across a bon ami bar a swipe or two...and then going after the unbacked up silver.
