2009 Memorial Conclave
We had pork ribs and beans when we got to Leucadia!
Couldn't help but notice your signs, Treece.
What's the fascination with gold leaf?
It is one of the most elegant mediums, and it get's the point across.
Though I'm sure the layman is sometimes a bit befuddled by your obfuscating
array of techniques, wouldn't you say?
We've seen pretty much everything you got, Treece. No sense hiding it now!
Had a great time! Thanks for silvering those pieces up for me. Looks like I had
everything figured out, except for when I painted my project pink. But like I
said, Letterhead meets have a way of making your forseeable project that which
never happens, and the unforseeable, that which your project becomes.
The pink is kinda growin' on me...truth be told.
I especially enjoyed that biscuit... with breffast.... one time!
Ever seen art like that?
Treece says Dickinson learned this craft in England.
"Glawson & Co." he called it.
That is some fine artwork.
That art makes for real good gildin'.
It was nice to have a few new faces, and nice to see the old regulars!
Thanks for having us!
And thanks for the great art & pullin' the squeegie, Mr. Dick-in-son!
See ya tomorrow my friend!
-AHO!

Take my advice and put your money in your boot....so you can make it to the next one.

Blake,
we've been together now a while... can't exactly say how long, but long.
ain't nobody I'd rather do this work with...you're as good as anybody I've seen...
except maybe Dickinson and his boy and me.
The reason you ain't as good as Dickinson, his boy and me ain't got nuthin to do with steady or fast or fortuitous.
The reason the above-named folks are better than you is because you used pink
well heck, sally, everybody uses pink
Pink'll ruin your gild.
you're using pink in your Jill McBain Sweetwater piece ain't ya?
I cared about Jill in Boise, and I'll care about her when I pull her out again.
But right now there's Glawson & Co. in Leucadia,
and we're trying to improve it.

Jenco! You're a pokey, vinyl slappin', teeth chippin'...
You think you can pull on me without your friend Dickinson to back you up?
You've known me a long time, Sally.
Long as I've known you.
You just finish up that Glawson & Co. piece.
Finish it up! Frame it up!
Then we'll post some pictures, here and now, so everyone can decide for themselves!
Then when we get to Rio Seco, we'll take care of the business between us.

Great to meet up with you guys again. Some of you guys ARE crazy!
Rod's got a nice shop for all to work in. Thanks Rod!
This is one meet that I don't have to fly half the way around the planet.
Only 40 minutes away from me!

Very nice John. I like those colors you chose.
Looks like you win the prize for finishing it up, gettin' it framed up and posting a picture.
I hope I'm not to far behind. I snagged a frame off ebay and am waiting for it's arival at the end of the line.
Crazy? You think a man that makes a living in a cloud of dust isn't crazy?
Maybe... maybe not.
Great meet!

...and maybe faster than you...

No body around these parts got the guts to paint their project pink, except for that Blake fella!
That surprize you, Jenco?
Well...you know gold, and you can paint...
Paint by numbers if ya have too!
What I must do is all that concerns me, not what the people think.

Re: 2009 Memorial Conclave
So, Treece, Dickinson, Jenco, Berg, Hardy, Gomez, and the rest of you... did you finish your Conclave project,
or just stack it against the wall with the others?
Best get some sleep.

Re: 2009 Memorial Conclave
How did you know it was against the wall with others?
Seriously, I've been trying to finish 'er up... I just need a picture of Rick. I kinda decided
that's what I want to put there. Anyone want to send me one or direct me to one?
A jpeg would work that I can print. I like the picture John used on his.
Thanks, Jerry

Nice panels folks. I'm curious, is the body text "Garner" font?
