"Brush and Blade Express" meet on March 27-29

Post by joe cieslowski »

In partnership with Phil Ghi ( www.ghisign.com ) we'll be holding a small meet called the "Brush And Blade Express"
on March 27-29. The shop is located in NW CT on rt 7 at the state line between CT and MA in the town of Canaan 06018. If anyone wants to fly in, BDL is your best bet and I can pick you up. Phil is designing a logo with a steam train theme (Lotsa old train history here)......he just returned from Boise's D, Butler workshop so he's pumped!!!

It's a no frills meet and there is no charge.....but donations for food are welcome or we can just eat out. I'm gonna have a small workshop on Carving/Moldmaking/Casting and a few demos are planned as well. We're open to suggestions.

NO PAPERWORK!!! Just email me... jcieslowski@snet.net and tell me you are comming.

I'll post the logo and lodging info this week.

That's it for now.....hope you can make it!

For those still making plans to get to the meet, here are a few places to stay in Great Barrington MA.

I did an http://www.orbitz.com search ....

Monument mountain Hotel $63
Days Inn Gt. Barrington $75
Travel Lodge Grt. Barrington $63

Local lodging is in B&B's which are pretty pricy!

If you have a camper, you can use the parking lot at the shop.

Looks like we'll have about 25 to 30 folks.

Should be a good time.

Hope to meet you there!
