Prevail Spray power unit

Post by Mike Jackson »

Hello all,
I was at the lumber yard today and picked up a Prevail spray unit and bottle, along with an extra power supply canister. The combo unit was $6.49 and the power unit was $5.29.

When I returned home, I searched around and found this place in Tulsa, OK selling the power units for $3.25

If anyone has a source cheaper, please post the info here, or link to their site.

Thanks,

What do you use them for, Mike?

Mark, they work for spraying Angel Gild, as seen in the clip above. Rick was using only the power unit, after mixing the Angel Gild components in a small plastic cup.

Besides that, they are basically spray paint units in which you pick the exact color....sort of like an clumbsy airbrush. They sell a 4 oz. bottle that attaches to the power unit, but you can spray out of a dixie cup for less mess to clean up.

The photo above shows the Prevail spay unit and an extra power unit. Rick mainly just used the power unit and the little stem dipped into a small cup when doing the vertical Angel Gilding.
